I'm a freelance book editor and business writing coach with extensive experience with voice, tone, branding, and reader expectations across commercial genres, especially romance, fantasy, and book club fiction. I offer a full range of developmental editing, manuscript assessment, writing coaching (for authors and other professionals), and publishing industry consultation services. I currently work with individual authors (aspiring and previously published), literary agencies, foreign publishers, Big 5 houses, and indie publishing startups.

I spent over 10 years at HarperCollins as the developmental editor, copywriter, and project manager on 200+ novels, including multiple New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and international bestsellers. My projects have sold millions of copies across the globe, hit every major bestseller list—including the #1 spot on the NYT and USAT lists—and won a Lambda Literary Award.
